Cheerleading Coach: Mrs. Staples

Basketball has begun! The boys will practice on Tuesdays & Thursdays from 2:00-4:00 pm. Girls will practice on Mondays & Wednesdays from 2:00-4:00 pm. This will be an intramural program until mid-January. In mid-January, a 12 player Select Traveling Team will be chosen to participate against the other schools and will represent Callahan in the City tournament in March.

Cheering will be held on Tuesdays & Thursdays from 1:45-3:15 pm. More information will follow.

There will be a $15.00 fee to defray the cost of the programs and to purchase Callahan Basketball and Cheerleading T-shirts. Players MUST wear sneakers, T-shirt, and shorts.

Select Team Players 

Team shirts will be provided in January to the Travel Team players. Game times will vary, depending on whether we play "early" or "late" schools, or travel there or play at home. When we play at another school, we will need help with rides. Any parents or other family members who can provide rides will be appreciated.

As always the attitude of your child will have an effect on playing time; therefore please encourage your child to do their homework, behave and try their best every day.
